Students and their parents had the opportunity to watch the documentary as part of a wider conversation on period poverty and the schools work in Uganda.
Thanks to a screening of A Journey With A Hope the school raised £600 for a non-profit in Uganda, focussing on these issues.
Following the screening, Headmaster Jonathan Pitt said that “the pupils loved it. It has led to a much bigger response including a period poverty focus at the education part of the Cheltenham Science Festival this summer.”
Thanks to everyone at Dean Close for supporting the film and its important message.
